I am tremendously interested in the new planet.  What a wonderful addition to the events of the Tercentenary year.

My great grandfather was Prof. William Bond of Harvard and am close to Prof. George Bond the Comet Seeker.

I love the science and have followed it closely all my life.

Cannot we hve a planet Hercules?  Or Pluto?  We haven’t any asteroid have we of these names?  I should so like Hercules.

While we honor Prof Lowell and take off our hats to him as to Galileo and Herschel and all the other great lights, for Heaven’s sake don’t call the nova “Percy”.  Truly that is impossible.  and absurd.
